 ____ VACCINES ____

The Travel Clinic at the Center for Tropical Diseases gives the possibility to receive the vast majority of vaccines required or recommended to any international traveller.

  • yellow fever
  • hepatitis A
  • hepatitis B
  • hepatitis A+B
  • typhoid fever
  • meningococcal meningitis
  • rabies
  • tetanus
  • dyphtheria
  • poliomyelitis
  •

Many of these vaccinations need more than one single shot (a series) to give adequate protection, so it is highly advisable not to wait the last minute to make an appointment with our Clinic. Usually, 4 to 6 weeks before leaving are considered a good span of time to complete the preparation. Nevertheless, also in the particular case of a “last minute” travel it is almost always possible to take some preventive measures and therefore it makes sense to see one of our doctors for a pre-travel risk assessment.

NO INFO ABOUT VACCINES AND MALARIA PROPHYLAXIS IS GIVEN VIA MAIL OR BY TELEPHONE
It is necessary to book a personal consultation at our Centre.
