One of the aims of the Centre for Tropical Diseases is to promote education and training for professional who intend to work anywhere, especially in developing countries.
The Staff of the Centre for Tropical Diseases and the Service of Epidemiology and Laboratory for Tropical diseases promotes every year several training courses; moreover, in association with Brescia University, the Centre is involved in "TropEdEurop" Master and two of its modules are held at "Sacro Cuore - Don Calabria" Hospital in Negrar (VR): the course in Clinical Logics and the course in Parasitology and Basic Laboratory.

CONGRESS

The Training Centre is an area intended both for training of internal staff and for other courses. It consists of three rooms of various capacity equipped with the most advanced didactic tools.

The Centre for Tropical Diseases is provided with a Microscopy Room located at the 6th floor of Don Calabria Hospital. The room is equipped with 35 microscopes, with a multi-view (teaching) microscope and with a microscope connected to a video system. The disposition of the room allows each participant to actively train at the assigned microscope with the samples provided by the tutors.

The Centre for Tropical Diseases has its own modern Laboratory Room where diagnostic training courses are held. The Service of Epidemiology and Laboratory for Tropical diseases is equipped with benches and tools in order to allow each participant to exercise at his own seat and to perform practicals autonomously, yet simultaneously with other students.

The Hospital has a wide and well equipped conference room with 120 seats located at the ground floor of Casa Perez.
